DESIGN INSPIRED BY THE NATIONAL SYMBOLS

INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTRE, ABUJA, COMPETITION

The project aims to respect the functional needs of the present whilst forging a strong future aesthetic. The building is designed to create a unique landmark, a highly contemporary and yet natural form. The three intersecting hemispheres are symbolising the connection between the past, the present and the future. The philosophy of the building reflects those three elements of human existence: the tradition of the past, the immediacy of the present and the daring of the future.
